As our friend PR, has made it very clear ... 1/3 of the Arctic Ocean is less 300 feet deep. This stuff is going to take off. 100 million years of history is about to wake-up. As that sea floor begins to thaw large mats of methane loving bacteria will carpet the sea floor. Huge plankton blooms with animals never seen before in The Arctic.
The sun cranking 24 hours a day into an ocean with very swallow seas,................. where have we see this before?
It'll be a real soup , trust me . I bought my first plastic dionsaur in 1956,
There's a good chance the Arctic is a cork in the Earth's Champange bottle
As the ice- to-water makes the phase change, it becomes much more plastic. This multi year ice is more like putty . Not the hard sharp thing that sunk the Titanic.
Then we open up the west side of Greenland , once we melt the last crust up there where the Peterman is dumping NY size bergs. Once we lose that last "white" we're off to the races , like giant cabbages in Alaska. The Arctic with all that sun all summer long is going to take off like "Fast&Loud".
Trust me " I'm a student of Natural Sciences and Human Folly ".
As I and others have said before, this is a giant un-controlled experiment on the main thing that keeps us from cold dead space . Burns up all those pesky meteors. And makes 'life' possible. And if one thinks that 400 ppm is small, let me put that much malaria in your blood. In nature, very small numbers swing very big bats.
I don't care if AM Radio says something different.
The atmosphere is not a boiler plate , it's a soup of gases only 60,000 feet deep . A very thin shell .
CO2 just didn't fall out of bed, it's part of 3 great cycles on Earth , The water cycle , the carbon cycle, and nitrogen cycle. These are the foundations of why you have gasoline in your tank tonight,.
