Our friend Physicist-retired lives in Conn. In the last 14 months he has seen Irene, the Halloween snow storm and Super Storm Sandy.  Last week when I showed him the European Model of Sandy , he went dark .  PR knew that the European Model nailed Irene on the nose.  

I have this friend in New Hampshire, her world was smashed by an ice storm 3 winters ago , Irene smashed all the old wooden bridges in Vermont 14 months ago.  This pattern of All-Time records goes way up into Canada, and curving of into Greenland.
